Designing, funding & operating purpose-led
initiatives that close social and economic gaps.
Odyssea Ventures is a Kuala Lumpur-based impact venture company incorporated under the Business Registration Act 1956. We design, fund, and operate purpose-led initiatives that address systemic social and economic challenges in Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian region. Our portfolio spans food security, community resilience, and digital inclusion — partnering with corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organisations to deploy capital and operational expertise where it creates the most meaningful, measurable change.
Launched in 2020, FoodboxMY was Odyssea Ventures' direct response to rising food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as an emergency relief effort has grown into Malaysia's most scalable community food distribution platform. The initiative enables donors to sponsor curated food boxes matched to specific community needs, packed and delivered directly to verified B40 families through a transparent, digitally tracked supply chain.
A multidisciplinary team combining deep expertise in venture building, public policy, logistics operations, and community development across Southeast Asia.
Odyssea Ventures is governed by an independent board with representation from finance, legal, and the social sector. An advisory panel comprising former civil servants, university academics, and senior corporate executives provides strategic guidance on policy engagement and programme design. Full board composition available upon request.
Odyssea Ventures operates within a broad ecosystem of government bodies, civil society organisations, and corporate partners — each contributing resources, reach, or expertise to the programmes we deliver.
